Ask An Another Alleged Adult

An advice column for people who don’t quite have their sh*t together - that’s all of us.

Alleged Adult

noun | adjective | verb (kinda)

Traits may include:

  • Repeatedly asking ChatGPT how to…live a life with purpose, work with the most irritating person in the world, have a hard conversation, or find more time in your day to write/knit/bike/read/paint/do your physio exercises

  • Deeply committed to the idea of personal growth, but also the reality of naps

  • Living in the paradox of wanting to do the work while also wanting someone else to just tell them what to do

Should you ask us your question?

The short answer is…YES!

The best way to get it out of your head is to ask. And maybe the question you have is not just yours but one you’ve been hearing a lot lately, or maybe it’s one you think we should all be considering. Wherever it comes from, asking it is one way to start a conversation around something you think is important.

No question is too small, too much, too tricky, or too absurd. We enjoy the absurd in particular.

Then what?

We read every question and share our responses in our newsletter and on this website. Your first name, location and our response to every question we are able to answer will be published in this manner.

Why does this matter?

We need more spaces for meaning human connection and dialogue! We need to be more curious! We like being asked good questions! We want you to know that you are not alone!
